We’re finally happy to announce that we’ve moved to our new, permanent office! In October of 2016, our Principal, Redza, and his wife signed a letter of intent to purchase a commercial space that will serve as Produktworks’ home base. We have leased an office space since our founding in 2008 so moving into a studio that we own is a huge leap for a firm like ours. A year and a half later, after many months of watching the construction go from pilings in the ground, to a beautifully finished out building, we are now settling into the new studio and enjoying the smell of fresh paint!
Located in the newly completed Public Lofts, on the corner South Congress and St Elmo, our studio is fully built out to meet our needs as a growing engineering and design firm. The 1557 sq. ft. space has a large work space, glassed-in conference room, full kitchen and prototyping workshop. Being in mixed-use development affords us all the condo amenities that will only serve to improve everyone’s work-life balance. There is an onsite gym, a rooftop pool that overlooks downtown Austin, a yoga studio and a secure parking garage. The studio is centrally located to all our staff (5 miles or less) so everyone has the option to ride their bicycles to work. Despite being here a little over a week now, it already feels like home and our team is really excited to be in this space.
