Audiotoniq is attempting to revolutionize the hearing aid industry by creating a product that is both cheaper to produce and technologically superior to existing competitors. Using their patented system, the hearing aid can be calibrated and adjusted by the user via their smart phone or mobile devices, without having to make an appointment with an audiologist.
Clandestine worked diligently to define the product architecture and industrial design, whilst pushing the engineering design to its limits. We worked with the client’s electrical design team to come up with innovative ways to mount components to a flex cable, to minimize solder time and cost. We also developed a discrete desktop charging case that allows the user to store and charge the hearing aids when not in use.
